Woodstock is experiencing an economic boom. Toyota is building a new manufacturing plant in the city and this has resulted in many other manufacturing plants setting up in the area.

Woodstock has the advantage of having 4 exits from the 401 freeway.

Two Hotels situated besides one another are The Quality Hotel & Suites and the Super 8 Both are at the entrance to the city on the 401 and 59 intersection. Lots of shopping and good restaurants are within walking distance.
