Tool and Die makers needed

If you are a Tool and Die maker, you might qualify to work in Canada on a temporary work permit.

The Tooling and Machining Trade Program has the following minimum requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
technical or trade school certificate or equivalent (i. e., Completed Certificate of Apprenticeship)
Working proficiency in English and/or French.
Five (5) years experience as a Journeyperson, after completion of technical or trade school certificate or equivalent.

Three occupations have been identified by the industry as being in short supply and have been included in the program:
Mould Maker
Foundry Pattern Maker
Tool and Die Maker
The following industries are part of this agreement:

The Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association
The Canadian Die Casters Association
The Canadian Plastics Industry Association
Canafian T and Machining Association

HOW TO FIND A JOB AND APPLY

Search for a job at the Human Resource and Skills Development Canada Job Bank

Apply for the job and after you have received a job offer, you must apply to Citizenship and Immigration Canada for a work permit, and a visitor's visa at a Canadian Embassy A worker will be allowed entry to Canada only after a work permit is approved. There is a fee of $150 to process an Application for a Work Permit.
